Dear Neighbors:

I would like to the thank the residents of the incorporated Town of Capitol Heights for allowing me to represent them for 12 years.

Together we have done great things. We have decreased crime. We have increased property values. Attracting new economic development in our boundaries has been key to beginning the plan to make our Capitol Heights a walkable and livable community. While leaving local leadership has been a tough decision, I believe that what we have built within the Incorporated Town is worth sharing with the area known as Greater Capitol Heights.

In addition, I want to continue to work with the municipal leadership in Seat Pleasant, Fairmont Heights and Glenarden to reduce the difference between incorporated areas and unincorporated areas. Furthermore, the hardworking civic leaders throughout the 24th Legislative District deserve leadership who can showcase the positive of the entire District and enhance ALL areas of our diverse district.

From Woodmore, to Glenn Dale, to Fairwood, to Largo, to Glenarden, to Mitchellville, to Capitol Heights, to Seat Pleasant, to Fairmount Heights, to Hillcrest Heights, to Suitland and to EVERYWHERE in between, I want to provide the best representation and advocacy to ensure our issues in Annapolis are addressed.

I submit myself, my experience, and my dedication to the citizens for consideration as a worthy candidate to elect to the Maryland State House of Delegates District 24 seat in 2018.

Your Humble Advocate,
Marnitta L. King, Esq
